DeiseBlogger Mad Hatter Tea Party In Aid of Pieta House (Includes Vlog)
Anyways onto the event itself! It ran as smooth as could be, which was surprising because no matter how well you usually prepare for it something usually always happens, typical Murphys Law but I have to say everything went greater then expected.
Rachael, jodi and myself decided to go ahead and plan a second event this year and the only difference was this year we decided to raise money for a charity that is very close to alot of us DeiseBloggers hearts. Pieta house is a centre for prevention of self harm and suicide. Suicide here in Ireland reached epidemic numbers last year so it is so important to support centres such as Pieta House who are working on the ground levels to help anyone who may feel this way. 90% of Pietas income comes from fundraisers such as the one we held here in Waterford so we are very pleased to announce we raised €450 on the day.

We then had a wonderful talk from Celia who is the founder of Nia Natural Skincare. She spoke about everything from the importance of a skincare routine and how to get good dental hygiene. Did you know those little bits of dust you see floating in the air, especially when you have a ray of sun shine into a room that they it isn't actually dust it is infact dead skin! I had no idea. Celia is an encyclopedia when it comes to skincare I could of sat and listened to her speak all night!

One of Waterfords most prestigious hairdressers done a fabulous demo on the one and only Diane Everett! She showed us how to create the gorgeous wave curl and how to back comb the hair properly. Which was something I really needed to learn!
Diane did a spontaneous Q'n'A at the very end which was so nice to get to know the girl behind the snapchat.
We ended the event with a balloon release for Pieta House. This was such a special moment shared between us DeiseBloggers and one we all wont ever forget.
